Full range of contraceptive services are provided by us, and we are prepared to counsel and refer women for terminations and are willing to offer a confidential service to women aged under 16 years.
- Physio FCP
They have a background as Specialist Physiotherapists with extensive experience and expertise in identifying and managing musculoskeletal conditions.
This means that instead of having to see a doctor first for your bone, joint, or muscle pain, you can now see one of our Specialist Physiotherapists directly.
The FCP role will allow you to be seen by the right person for your condition at the right time, allowing you to achieve your desired outcome in less time.
The appointments will last 20 minutes, during which you will be assessed, and the appropriate treatment pathway will be determined over the phone or in person.
Although the appointments do not provide hands-on treatment, the majority of musculoskeletal problems can be resolved with advice and exercise prescription, allowing you to self-manage and improve your symptoms.
If you require further referral to specialist services or clinical tests such as x-rays or blood tests, the FCP can refer you directly.
According to national pilot studies, after seeing an FCP, only 5% of patients choose to see a GP, and 96% would recommend the service to friends and family. If you believe you have bone, joint, or muscle pain and would like to see the FCP, please contact our front desk.

A GP referral is NOT required for this service.
It provides open access throughout Coventry and Rugby.
Many patients are seen and treated within 48 hours.
The service was created to divert patients away from GP practises and toward an eye care professional who can see and treat a wide range of common eye conditions, thereby freeing up GP capacity.
Children over the age of three will be seen at NHS eye care centres.
